About GutterMate - Our History & Haydon Robinson (GutterMate Founder)

Haydon Robinson, founder of Gutter Mate, recognised the growing need for an affordable, practical answer to storing and recycling water. He looked for products offering rainwater harvesting in a safe, reliable way.

He couldn’t find any.

So - he invented the original Gutter Mate Product – the leaf filter and diverter. It uniquely diverts and filters all the water before it is stored or used. He went on to create a fine mesh filter which allows rain water to be reused for domestic and commercial purposes both inside and outside the building.

The Gutter Mate range gives you everything you need for simple, efficient rainwater harvesting systems:

• Collection – of filtered rainwater using our Gutter Mate rainwater diverter
• Storage – via our water butts, wooden water barrels and rainwater tanks
• Watering - using automatic watering systems for garden watering and irrigation
• These products help with reducing costs and are safe and easy to install
